Measured accuracy

How often our age check lets a real adult through on the face alone, without asking for a document.

How we measured

We tested our production age models, exactly as shipped in the browser widget, on selfies of 8,745 verified adults from two platforms we operate. Each person's true age comes from their government ID. We used one selfie per person.

Scope

These figures are for adults. We also test how reliably the check stops under-age users; that measurement is in progress and will be published here when it is complete.
